Food drive to benefit the Westmoreland Food Bank

The Westmoreland Food Bank will be hosting a week-long food drive from September 9–13 to address hunger in our community. Their goal is to bring together individuals and organizations from various sectors, age groups, and demographics and have them work in unison to honor the lives and service of those we lost on September 11. 

We are asking WBA members to honor the spirit of service ofthose people who have stepped up to protect and serve their neighborhoods, their towns/townships, and this nation by donating nonperishable food items to this drive.

All who donate will be entered into a drawing for FREE CLE credits at the WBA!

Most requested items:

• Canned tuna, chicken, or salmon
• Canned fruits and vegetables
• Canned meals (stew, ravioli)
• Peanut butter
• Macaroni & cheese
• Cereal (whole grain)
• Boxed meals (Hamburger Helper)

All donated items must be nonperishable, have original manufacturer's label, be free from obvious defects, and within expiration dates. Please no glass jars—with the number of times the food is sorted and handled, broken glass can be a hazard.

Drop off location is WBA HQ, 100 North Maple Avenue, Greensburg.
