Kayden’s Law becomes effective on August 13, 2024. These changes are in response to the death of the child, Kayden Mancuso. We will discuss the amendments to Titles 23 and 42 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes and the changes to:

  1. Definitions in child custody;
  2. Award of child custody;
  3. Custody factors;
  4. Supervised physical custody;
  5. Criminal conviction considerations;
  6. Guardian Ad Litem appointment; and,
  7. Counsel for children.
